i see a crepe myrtle tree "blooming" yellow roses.

I think it was at the Dallas Botanical Garden (unsure of the name) that I saw a Crepe Myrtle for the first time and really knew and understood the beauty of that tree, actually many of them together. I also experienced foxglove in its supreme beauty the same day, a day of magic. I don't remember the date, maybe a decade ago, but I remember the occasion and place quite well.

the simplicity of a tree that grows without bark...pale and elemental. limbs creating their own pathways.

a tree deserving of wearing yellow roses that bloom only in the spring.
